The Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival is about so much more than swigging champagne and walking into the sunset, HighHeels in hand. This event has been around since its humble beginnings in 1861.

Horse racing traditions have been the essence of racing for many generations. It has paved the way for classic trends and great Australian sporting moments. The Spring Racing Carnival is a time to appreciate the beauty of traditions and members that have given us many years of fabulous thoroughbred champions and celebrations we all share together during this time.

To put your best foot forward this season it’s essential to show these traditions the respect and decorum that the institution deserves. Knowledge and recognition of these founding values reflect true class and style when it comes to racing.

As the race that stops the nation fasts approaches us I wanted to share an article of traditional flowers and inspire you to wear or embrace the special flowers when you are attending this year.

Enjoy the colours, beauty, and uniqueness of each flower arrangement. Be sure to let it spark your creativity this racing season.
